I'm running for Clean Water in the 2026 Falmouth Road Race!

I am honored to run the Falmouth Road Race as part of the Buzzards Bay Coalition Running Team. Although I live in Colorado I have deep family roots in Massachusetts and Cape Cod. My father, a career Air Force veteran, spent many boyhood summers working on Cape Cod, and he is buried at the MA Veterans National Cemetery in Bourne, MA. I am a career Army veteran and have been running for over fifty years. I ran the Falmouth Road Race almost forty years ago when the great runners of the 70's and 80's participated. It has always been one of my favorite running events. I have actively supported environmental and conservation causes throughout my professional career as an Army officer and University professor. Maintaining Buzzards Bay as a healthy ecosystem is essential to our livelihoods. Thank You!

Description

On Sunday, August 16th, I'll be running the Falmouth Road Race with Team Buzzards Bay. Together, we'll cover 7 miles and raise funds to support the Buzzards Bay Coalition, demonstrating our dedication to protecting clean water in Buzzards Bay and beyond.

Will you support my run by making a gift today?  Your donation will directly support the Buzzards Bay Coalition's tireless efforts in land protection, scientific research, advocacy, and fostering outdoor exploration.

Large or small, every contribution advances work made all the more urgent because of the impacts of climate change - including warming waters and rising sea levels. Thank you for helping me reach my goal.
