On August 16th, I’ll be lining up for my second year running the Falmouth Road Race in honor of my dad, Brian Igoe. We lost him to Alzheimer’s in December 2023, and while time keeps moving on, there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think of him.

I feel so lucky to share his deep love for running; it is still the space where I feel most connected to him. But being my father’s daughter, I’m not just showing up, I'm back to beat my time and my fundraising efforts. He was a competitor through and through, something he passed on to me. This year I hope to beat last year's fundraising total of $8,278 and hit $8,500...together I know we can do it!
