Help Daniel raise money

This August I'm running the Falmouth Road Race for Pleasant Bay Community Boating.

Growing up I learned to sail on the Shark River in New Jersey, loading my Optimist dinghy onto the roof of my Dad's SUV and travelling to regattas across the region. Those weekends competing on the water are some of my most vivid memories, learning the sport, chasing the wind, and falling in love with sailing. I eventually graduated to Lasers (briefly), and while I opted out for other pursuits (opera!), the memories of joy on the water never faded.

That opportunity existed because people invested in community sailing programs that opened the water to kids like me.

Pleasant Bay Community Boating does exactly that for Cape Cod. They provide a welcoming space for people of all ages to discover, enjoy, and grow on the water, whether you're picking up a tiller for the first time or returning to a lifelong passion. My in-laws are part of the Pleasant Bay community and I've seen firsthand the role this organization plays in keeping the bay alive and accessible for everyone who loves it.

I know what it meant to have that opportunity growing up. I'm running 7.1 miles on August 16th to help make sure others get the same chance.

Any contribution goes directly toward keeping the water open to all.
