Help Lincoln raise money

On August 16th, I'll be running my very first Falmouth Road Race.

For as long as I can remember, I've watched my mom and our family run this race in honor of my Uncle Ryan. I've always been one of the spectators, cheering everyone on from the sidelines. This year, I finally get to be part of it.

I never had the chance to meet Uncle Ryan. He passed away from a rare and aggressive cancer before I was born. Even though I didn't know him, I've grown up hearing stories about the amazing person he was—how much he loved running, how he made everyone laugh, and how he lived life to the fullest.

Running this race is my way of honoring his memory and helping continue the work of the Ryan Richards Foundation. The foundation supports local families facing cancer, funds rare cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and provides scholarships to students in Ryan's hometown of Falmouth.

This year is extra special because my cousin Nora and I are both running the race for the very first time. She gets to run in honor of her dad, and I get to run in honor of the uncle I never had the chance to meet.
