On August 16th, Colleen and I will be running in the 2026 ASICS Falmouth Road Race to raise funds and promote the acceptance and inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome.
Colleen is part of the Down syndrome research program at Boston Children's Hospital and she has been an active member of the community, attending MDSC, NDSC, MA Buddy Walk and several other events over the last couple of years. Colleen has seen firsthand how MDSC offers incredible support for people with Down syndrome and their families and we would like to help MDSC reach its ultimate goal - to ensure that all individuals with Down syndrome are valued, included, and given the opportunity to pursue fulfilling lives.
This race is an awesome opportunity for us to bring awareness to Massachusetts Down Syndrome College and for us to spend the summer training together. This will be my second time running the Falmouth Road Race and Colleen's first!
