My Story…

I am so excited to be running my first Falmouth Road Race this August for Tommy’s Place! I have watched my sister run for this special place the past three years and can’t wait to join her. Tommy’s Place is a vacation home for children battling cancer and their families to go and enjoy some much needed time together. We were able to witness the joy and relaxation this home brings first hand when my sister’s best friend Priscilla Bonica was able to spend a week there with her family in February 2022. In June of 2023, Priscilla passed away after a nearly 3 year battle with brain cancer. I always looked up to Priscilla as a role model on the basketball court and as a great friend to my sister. Her strength and positive attitude throughout her fight have inspired us to run in support of other children and families, in hopes that they too get to receive the same amazing experience offered at Tommy’s Place. Any donation is so greatly appreciated! Thank you! 💙🤍

Tommy's Place Provides Over 100 Free Vacations Per Year on Cape Cod!

Tommy's Place owns and operates two 10+ bedroom year-round magical vacation homes for kids fighting cancer.  The homes are located in Falmouth and Centerville on Cape Cod. One family at a time, along with their extended family and friends, visits for a one week, free of charge, dream vacation to relax, make memories and most importantly have FUN!

Tommy's Place homes are equipped with inground swimming pools, game rooms, movie theatres, home taverns, arts + crafts rooms, music rooms, chef's kitchens, and much, much more.  A magical experience for the entire family! 
 
Since opening in July of 2021, nearly 300 families have vacationed at one of the Tommy's Place homes. In 2024, Tommy's Place began offering 104 magical vacations per year at its two vacation homes. Tommy's Place receives guest referrals from 11 New England children's hospitals and all families are placed through a lottery system. Guests are aged 3-17, actively being treated for pediatric cancer, and living permanently and full-time in New England.
