My Story…
My name is Jacqueline and I am running for Heroes in Transition on behalf of my late father, John F. Sartell Jr. He was a Gunnery Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps , having served in the Gulf War in Dessert Storm, fighting in Somalia during Black Hawk Down and had worked at U.S Embassies in Russia and Greece early on in his career.
He passed in 2015 after being exposed to water contamination at Camp Lejeune. I am running in his memory with intention to raise money and awareness for veterans, active duty, and families in need of support.
