Help Annika raise money

I am excited to share that I am racing the Falmouth Road Race on behalf of the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition in honor of my mom, Heather. Throughout my entire life, my mom has been the single biggest influence on my athletic career. A gifted athlete herself, she grew up playing soccer and hockey, eventually playing for the Colgate women’s ice hockey team in an era where women’s collegiate sports were still nascent. 

Growing up, she was a constant at every meet, game, or race that I competed in. She reffed, coached, and cheered for every sport we played, from soccer to swimming. From Chicago to Berlin, she had shown up for me at every major race of my running career. 

In the 2025, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and began the long and arduous journey of cancer treatment. Her grace and strength throughout the last year has been incredible. 

I am excited to support the mission of the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition to prevent environmental causes of breast cancer. I hope that through this cause, we are able to contribute to steps towards a world that is cancer-free. If you are able, I would greatly appreciate any donations that you are able to share! Thank you!
