My Story…
I'm excited to share that I will be running the 7-Mile Falmouth Road Race to support Dogs for Better Lives, an incredible organization that trains and places assistance dogs free of charge with individuals living with disabilities. These amazing dogs help people lead safer, more independent and more fulfilling lives.
My goal is to raise $1800 and every contribution- big or small- makes a meaningful impact.
If you're able, please consider donating and helping me support this life-changing mission.
Thank you so much for your generosity and encouragement!
Description
Dogs for Better Lives trains and places Assistance Dogs free of charge with deaf or hard-of-hearing adults, children diagnosed with autism, and licensed professionals working with vulnerable communities so people with disabilities can lead safer and more independent lives. Our Northeast Training Campus opened in 2022 in Falmouth, and we're very excited to have a team of runners in the 53rd Falmouth Road Race, for a fourth year!
The average cost to train a service dog is $54,000 but we place our dogs at zero cost to our clients. Every dollar you raise for Dogs for Better Lives will go programmatic expenses.
