This summer, I’ll lace up my sneakers and proudly wear a Team Best Buddies MA/RI bib again as I take on the 2026 Falmouth Road Race.

Best Buddies is the world's largest organization dedicated to ending the isolation of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Through life-changing programs focused on friendship, leadership, employment, and inclusive living, Best Buddies empowers individuals with IDD to thrive while supporting their families every step of the way.

I’m honored to be running in support of this incredible mission and helping create a more inclusive world—one step at a time. Every dollar raised will directly support Best Buddies programs in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, helping individuals in our communities build meaningful friendships, develop leadership skills, secure employment opportunities, and live fuller, more connected lives.

The Falmouth Road Race holds a special place in my heart and in my family's story. Over the years, race weekend has given us countless memories—from running the race after college, to Damon proposing to me during race weekend, to watching our children become part of the tradition. Falmouth has been woven into so many meaningful moments in our lives, making this opportunity to run for Best Buddies even more special.
