Help Hayley Henriksen and Cheryl Molloy raise money

This year, my mom and I are honored to be running the Falmouth Road Race in support of the Ellie Fund, an organization that provides critical support to breast cancer patients and their families during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

This cause is deeply personal to us. In 2020 during a routine mammogram, doctors discovered precancerous areas in my mom’s breast tissue. She underwent a double mastectomy and full reconstructive surgery, and through it all, she faced every challenge with incredible strength, courage, and determination.

We know how fortunate we are that her story had a positive outcome. Many patients and families face even more intensive treatments, financial burdens, emotional stress, and long roads ahead. That is why we are running: to give back and help support those who need it most.

The Ellie Fund provides essential assistance such as groceries, transportation, childcare, and household support so families can focus on healing instead of worrying about everyday necessities. Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a meaningful difference for someone currently battling breast cancer.
