My Story…
When I was 9 years old, I was diagnosed with a brainstem tumor. It was a time filled with uncertainty—not only for me, but also for my family and healthcare team. As a child, it was difficult to understand the reality of my diagnosis and the challenges that lay ahead.
One Summit became an important source of strength for both my siblings and me. Through their programs, we learned how to build resilience, face adversity with courage, and find confidence during one of the most difficult periods of our lives. The connection I formed with the Navy SEAL mentors I met through One Summit remains strong today and continues to influence me in meaningful ways.
This year, I am running the 2026 Falmouth Road Race in support of One Summit to raise funds so that more children facing pediatric cancer, and their families, can benefit from the same support and encouragement that meant so much to me. Every donation helps One Summit continue its mission of building courage, resilience, and hope in children battling cancer. Thank you for helping make a difference.
Description
I couldn't be more excited to be part of Team One Summit. The task of running a race may seem daunting but pales in comparison to those suffering from pediatric cancer. It's an honor to participate in this year's Falmouth Road Race in support of One Summit - a nonprofit with a mission of building resilience in kids battling cancer through experiential learning and mentorship with U.S. Navy SEALs.
