My Story…
This will be my 15th time running the Falmouth Road Race but 1st time as a member of the Glen Doherty Memorial Foundation. I was fortunate to be a part of the team when I ran my first Boston Marathon in 2017 as a qualified runner. I learned about Team GDMF when my Dad's former timing company, North Shore Timing, timed their 5k/10k race in Winchester many years ago. Glen Doherty was one of four Americans killed in the terror attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012. Glen was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for his contributions to our nation. It is my honor to run in his memory. The opportunities this foundation provides for Special Ops soldiers and their families to help them transition to civilian life is so important! No donation is too small! Thank you for your support.
Description
