My Story…
In 2026, I’m excited to run the Falmouth Road Race in support of Girls on the Run Greater Boston, an organization that has been meaningful to me for many years.
My connection to Girls on the Run began in 2009 when I participated in the program as a 4th grader. The experience helped me build confidence, develop healthy habits, and learn valuable life skills. Years later, in 2021, I had the opportunity to give back by serving as a coach for the same after-school program that once inspired me.
Girls on the Run's mission to inspire and empower girls through physical activity, confidence-building, and meaningful connections is one that I deeply believe in. The program helps young girls recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and develop the skills they need to thrive both on and off the course.
Running the 2026 Falmouth Road Race is an opportunity for me to support a cause that has positively impacted my own life and the lives of so many others. Thank you for helping me raise funds to ensure more girls have access to these transformative experiences. Every contribution makes a difference.
Description
Girls on the Run is more than a running program. Through GOTR's program, trained coaches implement the research-based curriculum that builds lifelong healthy habits. Girls learn the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of physical activity, as well as tools for navigating the challenges of adolescence. Each season concludes with a 5K event where the girls run at their own pace, giving them a sense of achievement and a framework for setting and achieving life goals.
