I'm running the Falmouth Road Race to END ALZ!

Alzheimer’s disease has touched my family in the most personal way.

This year, I am running the Falmouth Road Race in memory of my grandparents, Bill and Gail Noonan, who were both taken from us too soon by this devastating disease. Watching the people you love slowly lose their memories, their independence, and pieces of themselves is truly heartbreaking.

My grandmother, Gail, dedicated more than 40 years of her life as a labor and delivery nurse before continuing her calling as a doula. She helped bring countless babies into the world—including my own children. She spent her life caring for others, and Alzheimer’s stole so much from her in return.

I have run the Falmouth Road Race before, but this year feels different. For the first time, I am running for a cause that is deeply personal to me. I am also sharing this experience with my son, Jackson, which makes it even more meaningful. Running side by side with him reminds me why this fight matters—not just for those we have lost, but for future generations.

I run in honor of my grandparents, but also for the generations that follow. I run for my mom, my aunts, myself, my cousins, and my children. I run with hope that through research, advocacy, and fundraising, we can find better treatments—and ultimately a cure—before another family has to endure the pain of Alzheimer’s disease.

Every donation supports the fight to end Alzheimer’s and brings us one step closer to a future where memories are preserved, families are spared this heartbreak, and no one has to watch a loved one fade away.

Thank you for supporting this cause that means so much to me and my family.
