My Story…
In 2014, Boston firefighter Michael Kennedy and Lieutenant Edward Walsh made the ultimate sacrifice while battling a devastating nine-alarm fire in Boston’s Back Bay. Michael was only 33 years old.
In the wake of this tragedy, Michael’s mother, Kathy Crosby-Bell, founded The Last Call Foundation with a powerful purpose: to ensure that no other firefighter family experiences the same loss.
Today, The Last Call Foundation is dedicated to improving the health, safety, and wellness of firefighters nationwide through critical research, innovation, and fundraising. By supporting life-saving initiatives and addressing unmet needs within the fire service community, the Foundation works to protect those who risk their lives to protect us.
Your donation honors the legacy of Michael Kennedy and Lt. Edward Walsh while helping create a safer future for firefighters across the country. Together, we can turn tragedy into progress and save lives.
