I'm running the Falmouth Road Race to END ALZ!
Hello everyone! I am running the Falmouth Road Race for the first time this summer. After cheering on my friends run last year and spending the weekend in the area, I knew I wanted to be part of the race this time around.
I discovered that the Alzheimer's Association had a charity team, and decided to put in my application to run for Team End ALZ. My grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's about 15 years ago, and between the time of applying for my charity bib and being accepted, he passed away from the disease. Grandpa Jack was an incredible man, husband, and grandfather and would be so proud to see me take on this race. Growing up, I saw him ride his bike backwards, ski down black diamonds, and waterski with one ski. His athletic feats inspired me to run this race and finish in his honor.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page, read my story, and donate to the cause. I truly appreciate any donation that will get me closer to my goal!
