My Story…
This summer, I'm lacing up for the Falmouth Road Race for Life Science Cares Boston, an organization built on a powerful idea: that our industry can and should show up for our neighbors who are struggling. Over the past 10 years, I've watched that idea grow into a movement:
- $13.8M invested directly into Boston-area nonprofits
- Nearly 40,000 volunteer hours contributed
- 3M+ meals and essential goods delivered to families
- 1,000+ Project Onramp interns launched into life-changing careers
- 42 nonprofit partners supported across basic needs, education, economic opportunity, and health equity
And yet, Massachusetts ranks 46th in economic mobility. In a state with so much innovation and prosperity, too many of our neighbors are still fighting for a fair shot at opportunity.
This is Life Science Cares Boston's 10th anniversary year - a moment to celebrate what this community has built and to go deeper. At a time when many nonprofits are facing increased demand and fewer resources, our support matters more than ever.
Seven miles on a hot August day is nothing compared to what our nonprofit partners do every day. My goal of $5,000 will help fund programs that make a real difference, from putting food on tables to putting young people on career paths. No amount is too small.
I'd be grateful for your support, whether that's a donation, a share, or a cheer from the sidelines. Thank you!
