Help Andrew raise money

I am excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race for the first time while raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association, an organization I am extremely proud to support.

Alzheimer’s is a disease that affects millions of families across the country. Today, more than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, and nearly 13 million Americans provide unpaid care for people with Alzheimer’s or other dementias. This disease is also deeply personal to me because I have seen its effects through my grandmother, Beverly Murray.

The Alzheimer’s Association plays an important role in supporting people living with Alzheimer’s, as well as the caregivers and families who walk through this disease with them every day. They provide education, local support groups, care resources, research funding, and a free 24/7 Helpline that connects families with information, crisis assistance, emotional support, and local resources.

I am running this 7-mile race to honor my grandmother, raise awareness for Alzheimer’s, and remind people that brain health matters. Research continues to show that healthy lifestyle behaviors, including regular movement and exercise, may help reduce the risk of dementia later in life.

My goal is to finish the race in under one hour, and I am confident I can do it. More importantly, I hope to raise $2,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association. Please consider supporting me as I run for my grandmother, for caregivers, and for every family affected by Alzheimer’s.
