My Story…
I am very excited to be running the Falmouth Road Race for The Brittany Fund for Trauma and Recovery. The Brittany Fund provides financial support to survivors of trauma so they can focus on their physical and emotional recovery rather than the financial burden that often comes with life-changing injuries.
This mission is especially important to me because I believe that individuals facing traumatic injuries should be able to dedicate their energy to healing without the added stress of medical and recovery expenses.
The Boston Marathon has also been a significant part of my life. Growing up, I attended the race every year to cheer on my aunt, who completed the marathon seven times. In 2013, she was running the Boston Marathon when the bombing occurred and was less than half a mile from the finish line. That event deeply impacted so many people and demonstrated the strength and resilience of survivors.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support The Brittany Fund and help continue its mission of assisting trauma survivors on their road to recovery. Thank you for supporting this meaningful cause and helping make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
