My Story…
This August, I’ll be running the Falmouth Road Race for the third year in a row as part of the We Beat Cancer team.
I started working at Boston Children’s Hospital in 2015 as a pediatric hematology/oncology nurse on 6NE, and I can honestly say I love what I do. It is my passion. Over the past 11 years, I have had the privilege of caring for incredible children and their families during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. They have taught me more about courage, resilience, hope, and unconditional love than I could ever imagine.
Running for We Beat Cancer is especially meaningful to me because every dollar raised goes directly back to the patients and families cared for on my floor. These funds support programs, resources, and research that make a real difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.
This is my third year running Falmouth, and every mile is for the patients, families, and colleagues who inspire me every day. Thank you to everyone who has supported me and this incredible mission. Together, we are helping bring hope, healing, and support to children and families facing cancer.

Thank you so much for supporting We Beat Cancer. We’ve had a Falmouth Road Race team since 2011 and every single dollar raised goes directly to cancer funding. We support patients, organizations and hospitals financially, physically and emotionally. We have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to local cancer patients and their families. The cancer fight is all about hope, determination and grit. We strive to make the battle a little easier on cancer patients and their caregivers. From pediatric patients to moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles and everyone that it affects. Thank you so much for your continued support in our fight!
