My Story…

I am incredibly excited to be running the 2026 Falmouth Road Race as a member of Team Gosnold for the second year in a row!

Last year was my first time participating in this iconic race, and it quickly became one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever been a part of. Not only is the Falmouth Road Race a tremendous event, but it also provides an opportunity to support organizations making a real difference in the lives of others.

Gosnold’s mission of providing compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health challenges is something I am proud to support. Every dollar raised helps expand access to the critical services and resources that so many people rely on throughout their recovery journey.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. Any contribution, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated and will help me reach my fundraising goal while supporting the incredible work being done at Gosnold.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to crossing the finish line for Team Gosnold once again this August!

Description

Founded in Falmouth, MA in 1972, Gosnold is a mission-driven, award-winning treatment facility that offers a wide range of comprehensive treatment options for behavioral health and substance use disorders. Our mission is to excel in addiction and mental health treatment, to serve individuals and families affected by these illnesses, and to promote lasting recovery. Driven by a strong commitment to addressing the most urgent needs of the communities we serve, we believe that all people deserve access to high quality, compassionate care, regardless of their economic or social condition.

Some of our current programs and services include inpatient detoxification, residential rehabilitation programs, long-term sober living residences, partial hospital programs, intensive outpatient programs, individual, couples and family counseling, recovery coaching, emergency room navigation and family education/support programs. Each program is tailored to the patient’s individual needs.

While all health care providers struggle with insurance reimbursement rates, the challenge is particularly hard for nonprofit, mission-driven treatment centers like Gosnold. This is largely because of our steadfast commitment to treating all patients, regardless of their ability to pay. Many of our patients are uninsured or have insurance with low-reimbursing assistance benefits. While private and for-profit providers often turn away patients with plans that don't reimburse well, Gosnold strives to work with everyone, and this can present a significant financial challenge.
