This August, I'll be running the Falmouth Road Race once again—something I've been fortunate to do since 2017 while supporting a variety of incredible charitable organizations. This year, I'm honored to be running for Genesis Club  in Worcester, MA.

As a nurse who has worked in mental health for the past 10 years, I've seen firsthand how important community, support, purpose, and connection are for people living with mental health challenges. Recovery is about so much more than treatment—it's about having opportunities, relationships, and a place where people feel valued and supported.

That's what makes Genesis Club such a special organization. They provide a welcoming community where individuals can build confidence, develop skills, pursue employment and education, and create meaningful connections that support long-term recovery and wellness.

Running has always been a way for me to challenge myself, and the Falmouth Road Race has become a meaningful tradition in my life. Being able to combine that passion with a cause that aligns so closely with my professional experience and personal values makes this year's race especially important to me.
