My Story…
Somewhere between questioning my life choices on a run and convincing myself I can survive “just one more hill,” I decided to train for the Falmouth Road Race.
At first, this has felt less like athletic training and more like Luke Skywalker being thrown into Jedi training before he was fully ready. Some days the Force is strong. Other days, the Cape humidity has me breathing like Darth Vader before mile one. But I’m showing up, putting in the work, and doing my best to prepare for one of Cape Cod’s most iconic races.
This year, I’m proud to be running the Falmouth Road Race in support of the American Red Cross of Southeastern Massachusetts. As part of the race, I am working to raise $500 to support the incredible work they do for families and communities during emergencies, disasters, blood drives, and times of need.
If you are willing and able to support me, any donation, big or small, would mean a lot. Whether it is $10, $25, or more, every bit helps me get closer to my goal and supports an organization that helps people when they need it most.
I promise to give it everything I’ve got, even if some runs feel more “Padawan struggling on Tatooine” than Jedi Master.
Thank you for considering supporting me on this journey.
May the Force (and my lungs) be with me.
