For years, I've had a front-row seat to watching my wife dedicate herself to Best Buddies in a variety of roles. I've seen the countless hours, the passion, the commitment, and the impact she's helped create as the organization has continued to grow and expand its mission across the country —and I've seen firsthand the difference this organization makes in people's lives.

So when the opportunity came to run my first Falmouth Road Race in support of Best Buddies, I was excited to finally play a small role in a mission that has meant so much to her for so long. This race is my chance to support a cause that's become an important part of our lives and help raise funds so Best Buddies can continue creating opportunities for friendship, leadership, employment, and inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The race may be an individual effort, but the impact is a team sport. That's where our village comes in. One of the best parts of teamwork is bringing together friends, family, neighbors, and supporters to rally around something bigger than ourselves. By supporting this fundraiser, you're helping Best Buddies grow their mission and create even more opportunities for meaningful friendships, inclusion, and belonging.
