I'm Running the Falmouth Road Race for Family Reach!
I joined Family Reach in May because once I learned about the mission, I knew I had to be part of it. On August 16th, I'm running my FIRST Falmouth Road Race to support Family Reach – a national nonprofit and Financial Resource Center that helps people facing cancer nationwide afford everyday needs like food, housing, transportation, and utilities. Please consider donating to help me reach my goal of raising $2,000 for Family Reach. 1 in 5 people facing cancer struggle to afford at least one basic need during treatment. Help us to change that.
Description
Family Reach is the only national nonprofit 501(c)(3) focused solely on helping people with cancer access food, housing, utilities, and transportation. Treatment requires more than medicine — families need a roof over their heads and food on their tables to survive. We work with patients, care teams, and community-based organizations to provide immediate and ongoing financial support for these basic needs. Together we’re challenging the systems that force people to choose between their health and their homes.
