Connecting the Cerebellum to Cures - MINDLINK
Team Maureen is raising funds to support the research on behalf of Maureen Andren who has been diagnosed with Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), a rare and progressive neurological disease. Sadly, there is currently no known cure and no known cause for MSA.
Maureen's heroic efforts included participating in a research study at the Laboratory for Neuroanatomy and Cerebellar Neurobiology at MGH in Boston. This 6-month commitment required rigorous brain imaging, clinical evaluations, challenging medical assessments and much more.
These findings will support the ongoing research necessary to crack the code of this fatal disease.
