My Story…
Carol and I are participating in our third walk. This year I am hoping to raise money for Parkinson’s. This is a disease that is man made and completely unavoidable. Visit Parkings.org and michaeljfox.org to learn more about the disease. Carol was diagnosed in 2023. Caught us both by surprise. We are hoping to help find a cure by participating in trials and giving what we can to help fund research. Every Parkinsons journey is unique and takes years to manifest. Carol could have exposed to a chemical 30-40 years ago. Your children could be exposed now.

Environmental exposure to toxins, pesticides and herbicides are considered significant risk factors. This is a man made disease and more awareness is the key to getting to the root cause and subsequently eliminating the disease. There is a great book The Parkinson’s PLAN that gives a good insight into this and gives 25 actions to lower your risk of Parkinson’s.
