Not a runner but still want to be part of the race day excitement? Experience the Energy Without the Sweat! Come volunteer with us on race day!
Our Biggest Need: Course Marshals. We need a team of enthusiastic volunteers working alongside the La Grange Park Police Department to keep our race participants safe and on track. Your role includes: overseeing a barricaded intersection, managing traffic and pedestrian flow and cheering on and guiding racers through the course. Want a specific spot? Check the course map and note your preferred intersection in the comments when you sign up. We’ll do our best to accommodate requests!
We truly couldn't do this without you. Thank you for supporting our schools! Register to volunteer at Run for D102 Sign Up Genius!
Special thanks to the following groups for helping with our volunteer efforts at past events!

Strollers and walkers permitted at the back of the pack. No dogs, roller blades, bicycles, or skateboards allowed.
Race Timing: The Run for 102 uses a disposable chip timing tag that runners receive at packet pick up on their race bibs. It is lightweight and remains attached to the race bib. Runners must wear their race bibs on the front of their clothing (preferably chest) in order to be timed accurately. The chip will not be read if the bib is covered, if you are holding it in your hand or if it is in your pocket. Do not bend the chip. There is no post race chip turn-in or fee for lost or unreturned chips. Smart watches such as Garmin and smart phones can interfere with the timing chip frequency. Please do not adjust your watch or phone as you cross the finish line and come through the chute. Disputes for times on Smart watches and smart phones will not be taken into consideration.
Mascots: We are excited to have many of the mascots representing the district schools present on race day. They will cheer on runners as they cross the finish line!
Packet Pick-Up: Advanced packet pickup with be held at Gemini Gymnastics on Friday April 17th between 12PM and 6PM. Gemini Gymnastics is located at 330 W Washington Ave, La Grange, IL. Race registration will be available at packet pickup and is HIGHLY encouraged versus registering on race day.
Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up: Race day registration and packet pickup opens at 6:45AM and closes PROMPTLY at 7:30AM. Please allow plenty of time for race day registration. Race day registration lines can be long. We highly encourage you to register online before online registration closes on Thursday, April 16th. Ample parking is available in the east blacktop/parking lot area at Park Junior High. Parking is also available on the streets of La Grange Park but please AVOID parking on the race route.
