This year, I’m proud to support The FAB 5K — a community fundraiser that helps empower young girls in Hamilton through the Fit Active Beautiful Foundation. As a parent of a 15-year-old daughter, this cause hits close to home. The FAB program provides girls in lower-income communities with the opportunity to train for and complete a 5K while building confidence, resilience, and lifelong skills. It’s more than just running — it’s about helping girls believe in themselves and their potential. The program is completely free and removes barriers by providing running shoes, mentorship, and support — giving every participant the chance to succeed.
