Why I RUN for WUN
Running for a Cause That Matters
I’m proud to be running to raise awareness and funds for Wake Up Narcolepsy, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by narcolepsy.
My family and I have supported this cause for many years, and it has become especially meaningful to me through my relationship with a colleague whose son is living with this rare disease. Watching their family navigate the challenges that come with a rare diagnosis has given me an even deeper understanding of the importance of awareness, support, research, and advocacy.
I’m running in honor of their son and all those living with narcolepsy. For families facing a rare disease, having a community that understands, resources they can turn to, and an organization advocating on their behalf can make an enormous difference.
Each mile I run represents something bigger than the race itself. It represents hope, perseverance, and the belief that no family should have to face a rare disease alone. It is also my way of standing beside my colleague, his son, and the many other individuals and families whose lives have been touched by this disease.
I hope you’ll join me in supporting this important cause. Every donation helps Wake Up Narcolepsy continue its work to provide support, increase awareness, advance research, and advocate for the rare disease community.
Thank you for supporting me—and, more importantly, for supporting the families who inspire every step of this journey.
Together, we can make every mile matter.
