My Story…
I am running to honor all the siblings who are no longer with us due to addiction.
While climbing Katahdin in Maine last summer along the knifes edge I realized my mom would die 12 years after her 40th birthday. I wondered what she would have done for those 12 years if she had known she only had about a decade left to live.
I turned 40 this past March and chose to sign up for this run to spend time with my brother.
I’ve missed him and I’m grateful that he invited me.
I know our mom is happy we’re spending time together, too.
