My Story…
I’m excited to share that I’ll be participating in the LungStrong 1.5 Mile Walk to raise funds for lung cancer research at the Massachusetts General Brigham Cancer Institute.
As the Program Manager of the Hata Laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital, I have the privilege of working alongside an incredible team dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with lung cancer. Our lab focuses on understanding why certain targeted therapies work — and why they sometimes stop working. By studying the mechanisms of drug sensitivity and resistance, we aim to develop more effective, personalized treatment strategies.
Our research is highly translational, meaning it directly connects laboratory discoveries to patient care. We work with patient-derived cell lines and mouse models to help accelerate breakthroughs that can make a real difference in patients’ lives.
Every donation, no matter the size, directly supports innovative research efforts like ours and brings us one step closer to better treatments and improved survival for those affected by lung cancer.
Your support truly means so much — thank you for helping us move this important work forward!
Donate to help Christina raise money for LUNGSTRONG 5K Run & 1.5 Mile Walk’s fundraising campaign.
