Raise money for A Place Called Home
Since 1995, A Place Called Home (APCH) has provided safe shelter, support, and hope to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the City of Kawartha Lakes and the County of Haliburton.
Helping People Move Forward
APCH is a place of encouragement and stability for people facing one of the most difficult moments of their lives. We support individuals who are experiencing homelessness as they work toward securing safe, stable housing. Living in crisis takes a serious toll on a person’s physical and mental health, and having a safe place to stay is often the first step toward healing and rebuilding.
Support That Wraps Around People in Crisis
Our team walks alongside people during one of the hardest moments they may ever face, offering guidance, encouragement, and practical support as they navigate the barriers between homelessness and housing. With deep knowledge of the homelessness system, government supports, and community resources—and with the help of our many dedicated community partners—we surround each person with the understanding and support they need to move forward with dignity and hope.
Fundraising Incentives
Participants who raise or donate $150 to earn a lightweight, long‑sleeve Kawartha Lakes Classic shirt. Every dollar goes to A Place Called Home to support those experiencing homelessness in our community.
