What is the Singlife Iloilo Marathon?

On April 12, 2026, the spotlight turns to Iloilo City as the Singlife Iloilo Marathon unfolds at SM City, Iloilo City—marking the second leg of the Philippine Marathon Majors!

Recognized as the gold standard of the Philippines’ running calendar, the Singlife Iloilo Marathon is more than a race—it’s a celebration of the Filipino spirit, uniting runners through a shared passion for sport, community, and heritage.

As sports tourism continues to grow across Asia, the Philippine Marathon Majors proudly brings its second event to Iloilo City—welcoming runners from around the world with the passion, warmth, and heart that define the City of Love. Building on the movement started by the Philippine Marathon Majors, this second event lays down an even stronger foundation for a legacy defined by discipline, excellence, and the pride of the Filipino runner.

What are the race categories?

Participants may select any of the following race categories:

42KM | 21KM | 10KM | 5KM

How much are the registration fees?

Note: Please be advised that our registration involves additional costs, including processing and web fees in addition to the published registration fees.

Is there an age limit to register?

- For 42KM, and 21KM, participants must be 18 years and above

- For 10KM, participants must be 16 years and above

- For 5KM, participants must be 13 years old and above. Kids 12 years old and below will be allowed to run provided he or she is accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Participants below the age of 18 must seek their parental/guardian consent and fill up the entry form where the parent/guardian is required to sign.

How can I register?

All participants need to register online in just four easy steps.

1. Visit (race roster link). From the Race Roster, register and choose your preferred mode of payment.

2. Third, fill out the form by choosing the race category, shirt sizes and provide complete info needed. Pay online via Gcash or Credit Card or Bank Transfer.

3. Once the registration fee is paid, participants will be receiving a confirmation email with a summary of information and payment fee from Singlie Iloilo Marathon with an email address of iloilomarathon@runrio.com. Please check your inbox, promotions folder and spam folder for the confirmation.

When is the registration period?

The online registration will start on December 30, 2025. You may refer to the registration website for the complete details.

Is the online registration system secure?

Yes. We use a security system consistent with the banking industry standards of the Philippines.

What will I get if I register?

All participants will receive race kits inclusive of race singlet and race bib with timing chip. Finisher’s entitlements are medal, drawstring bag, finisher’s shirt, and finisher’s towel. Please note that only finishers of the 21KM and 42KM are entitled to a finisher's shirt.

Will there be on-site registration?

What is the Age Group category?

The Age Group Category is exclusive to the 42KM distance. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group:

• 25–29

• 30–34

• 35–39

• 40–44

• 45–49

• 50–54

• 55–59

• 60–64

• 65–69

• 70–74

• 75–79

• 80 and above

TCS SYDNEY MARATHON GUARANTEED SLOTS

How to qualify for the TCS Sydney Marathon slots?

Qualification is exclusive to 42KM Age Group winners. Only top finishers per age group are eligible to earn a qualified slot for the TCS Sydney Marathon.

Is the TCS Sydney Marathon slot free?

No, the slot confirms eligibility and guaranteed entry, but race fees and expenses must still be paid by the participant.

How much does it cost to join the TCS Sydney Marathon?

Exclusive packages are available for qualified runners:

• Option A: Race Fees Only

• Option B: Race Fees + Hotel Accommodation Package (Available in Standard, Deluxe, and Premium tiers)

MODE OF PAYMENT FOR SINGLIFE ILOILO MARATHON

What are the modes of payment?

Upon online registration, participants can choose to either pay by GCash, Credit Card and Grab Pay. A payment instruction will be provided to the participants as a guide.

Do you accept cash payments?

No. All payment for Singlife Iloilo Marathon will be via GCash, Credit Card and Grab Pay only.

CONFIRMATION EMAIL

How will I get confirmation after a successful registration?

Once the registration fee is paid, participants will be receiving a confirmation email with a summary of information and payment fee from Singlife Iloilo Marathon with an email address of iloilomarathon@runrio.com. Please check your inbox, promotions folder and spam folder for the confirmation.

What would I do if I didn’t get a confirmation email?

Participants may contact us via email at iloilomarathon@runrio.com or via the Singlife Iloilo Marathon Facebook Messenger. Our Customer Service is available to respond to queries and assist you from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays, and limited time on weekends.

CLAIMING OF RACE KITS

How can I claim my race kit?

Race kits can be claimed during the official Race Pack Collection schedule.

When is the Race Pack Collection?

Race Pack Collection will be held from April 8-11, 2026, between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Final venue to be announced—stay tuned for updates.

Participants must present their confirmation email and a valid ID for verification upon claiming.

Can someone else claim my race kit on my behalf?

Yes, as long as the person claiming the race kit has a copy of the confirmation email, a copy of the registrant's valid ID, and an authorization letter to be validated by the representative.

Can I change the size of my shirt after registration and confirmation?

Unfortunately, changing shirt sizes is not permitted after the registration form has been submitted. Participants are advised to refer to the race shirt size chart on the online registration site before confirming their selection.

Yes.

Will the run time per runner be tracked?

Yes, the run time of all runners will be tracked using our timing system so make sure you're properly wearing your race bib during the race.

Is it required to wear the singlet during the race?

While we highly recommend wearing the official singlet because it's going to be definitely cool, it's not obligatory for participation. However, wearing of the race bib is required throughout the race.

Are there freebies on the day of the race?

Yes. There will be giveaways/freebies on the race event day.

How can I claim my finisher’s entitlements?

To claim the finisher’s entitlements, participants may present the race bib at the redemption booth within the race village.

Will there be baggage counters and changing areas?

Absolutely, we will provide baggage counters and designated changing tents at the Race Village.

Will there be available portalets on the race day?

Yes. There will be portalets inside the Race Village and Race Route.

Will there be road closures and parking facilities at the start and finish line?

Yes. Parts of the race route on the event day will be closed. Please refer to the official road advisory in the official race and LGU traffic advisories that will be deployed prior to the race for specific road closure timings.
