Celebrating it's 23rd year, the Dr. Ed Morgan/Kiwanis Grand Slam 4 Miler is a four mile run/walk through beautiful Waterfront Park in the morning and a baseball game that evening. What a perfect way to spend a summer Saturday. All registrants receive their choice of a cotton blend, tech shirt or women's tech tank (only pre-registered will be guaranteed a shirt on race day) or get two for an additional $10.
Race entry includes:
- Choice of short sleeve cotton blend shirt, short sleeve wicking tech shirt or women's only wicking tank
- Finisher medal
- Post race breakfast
- Door prize drawings
- Team competition
- Raise $150 for Big Brothers Big Sisters or Heuser Hearing Institute and your entry fee is on us!
VIRTUAL RUN
A virtual race is a race that can be run or walked from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on a treadmill or track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace. Virtual runners not eligible for awards.

4 Mile Virtual

Virtual packets will not be mailed but may be picked up at pre-race packet pickup or race morning by a friend. A virtual race can be completed on your own, at your own location. You will then be able to submit your virtual results from Thursday, July 16th until midnight, Sunday, July 19th. On Monday, July 20th you'll be able to download your Finisher Certificate and see your rankings. Instructions on how to submit your time will be sent Wednesday, July 15th.

Overall male and female will receive a Louisville Slugger baseball bat. Second, third overall will receive a souvenir Louisville Slugger Baseball bat . Master and grandmaster overall winners will receive a souvenir Louisville Slugger Baseball bat.
Awards for the top 3 male & female overall, Master and Grandmaster and top 3 male & female in the following age groups: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15 - 19, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 & over.

Race day starting at 7:00 a.m. at the back gate to Louisville Slugger Field (start area)
Race Day Parking
On race day, parking will be available at Louisville Slugger Field, 501 E. Main St.
