My Story…
Team “Mary’s Mavericks” here!! Connor, Shayla and I are once again participating in the Kicking PancreAS - Nova Scotia - 5K Walk in support of Craig’s Cause for Pancreatic Cancer. The walk is on September 26th and we will be walking in the memory of Mary. She passed away fourteen years ago at the age of 61, eight weeks to the day after her diagnosis. As well, we will be thinking of a friend and neighbor of ours who passed away a few years ago from pancreatic cancer - yet another person whom this terrible disease took from us far too soon.
