My Story…
Despite several surgeries and a couple of life changing side effects- I feel enormously lucky! My cancer journey could be described in many ways- I’m choosing to share what Ive learned instead of what I’ve been through. One- miracles happen every day! Two: advocating for yourself in healthcare settings is allowed and essential. In my story, frustrating constipation was actually a large ovarian tumor. Luckily I asked more questions and am here to encourage you to ask yours!! Don’t be shy ladies, it could save your life.
