Our story…
Join us in the fight to put an end to ovarian and other gynecologic cancers. We can help create a healthier world for future generations. My daughter Shannon and I have participated in this event since 2015 when she was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 15. Turns out our family has a genetic disposition to ovarian cancer as my mother Shirley O'Grady, my niece Cedar O'Grady and I have also had it. Shannon was a brilliant, beautiful and authentic human who saw the best in everyone. She is no longer with us here on earth so we will continue to do this event in her memory to help fight this and other gynecologic cancers. We also honor Cedar as she is a survivor and part of our team. Knowledge is power and power is hope.
