Our story…
We’ve run the Pajama 5k every year since 2019. The year before, Dan was diagnosed with angiosarcoma and needed to have his lower leg amputated. We run this race to support the Move For Jenn Foundation. MFJ provides active prosthetics (not often covered by insurance) so amputees are able to keep moving and stay healthy. They also provide grants for research and help amputees through advocacy. They’re a valuable asset to the amputee community.
Our family won’t be able to join in on the fun at the Pajama 5k-we’ll be at a good friend’s wedding that weekend. Our plan is to hike a 5k over Thanksgiving weekend together as a family. If you’d like to support us and the Move for Jenn Foundation we’d appreciate it!
