Our story…
The Monk Squad has walked annually since 2022 in honor of Jayce "Monk" who had heart surgery as a newborn at Children's Minneapolis, during which time his parents were provided meals and a place to "get away" during the hospital stay. Walking and fundraising is their way to give back and continue helping support other families in need.
Description
We are supporting Ronald McDonald House to help raise funds that support families with seriously ill or injured children. Last year families saved more than $7 million thanks to the free lodging, meals, snacks and programming provided by RMHC-UM. They even have a K-12 school so families can all stay together during a child's illness or hospitalization. The care and attention that is placed on making a stay at Ronald McDonald House as welcoming and stress-free for families who are dealing with an already difficult situation is truly amazing!
