Our story…
On August 15, our family will be participating in the Ronald McDonald House Charities Family Walk to help raise money for a place that means so much to us. While Charlie was receiving care in Minneapolis, Ronald McDonald House became our home away from home. It provided us with a safe, comfortable place to stay close to him during one of the most difficult times in our lives. Because of the generosity of others, we were able to focus on what mattered most—our family. Now, we'd love the opportunity to give back so other families can receive that same support. If you're able, any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping us make a difference for families facing medical challenges.
Description
We are supporting Ronald McDonald House to help raise funds that support families with seriously ill or injured children. Last year families saved more than $7 million thanks to the free lodging, meals, snacks and programming provided by RMHC-UM. They even have a K-12 school so families can all stay together during a child's illness or hospitalization. The care and attention that is placed on making a stay at Ronald McDonald House as welcoming and stress-free for families who are dealing with an already difficult situation is truly amazing!
