The Great UP Run 2026, in partnership with the UP Office for Athletics and Sports Development (OASD), is part of RUNRIO’s ongoing movement to support the Varsity Teams of the University of the Philippines. Bringing together the UP community, the event is expected to welcome UP Varsity athletes, students and faculty from all campuses, UP alumni, and the families, friends, and supporters who stand behind the Fighting Maroons.

Participants may choose from 5KM, 10KM, and 16KM race categories—designed to welcome runners of all levels, from those building their race experience to seasoned athletes ready to push their limits.
