My Story…
The Darling Home for Kids is entrusted to care for the most medically complex children. Highly specialized Residential, Respite, and Hospice Palliative Care Programs draw children and families from all over the province. More than 70,000 children in Ontario are classified as medically complex, and that number continues to rise, as does the demand for our services. Proceeds from the Rally for DHK will help to support our core programs and services. With your help, we can provide each child with the best care possible. Looking forward to your support as we race in the rally for DHK.
Description
I'm taking part in the Rally for DHK - a wild, road trip-style adventure race full of puzzles, clues, and hilarious challenges - all in support of The Darling Home for Kids. It’s an amazing cause that provides care and comfort to kids with complex medical needs, and I’d love your help in supporting them. Please consider donating to my page as we rally for fun and for a great reason. Every dollar makes a difference! 💙
![]() | Meet Everleigh: Everleigh breathes through a trach, sometimes with a ventilator, and has a G-tube for her feeds and medications. She loves being around her friends at DHK. She enjoys listening to nursery rhymes, and watching Peppa Pig. Creating art with the help of our caring staff is one of her most favourite activities. At The Darling Home for Kids, Everleigh is supported, cherished, and enjoys each day filled with activities that help her thrive. Because here, childhood is celebrated and lived fully, no matter the complexity. Joy Lives Here. |
Your support is the reason families can access essential respite days and nights, and the reason these children can receive the medical care they deserve, while embracing the joy of childhood – something every child should have the chance to experience. Every smile and every moment of care is possible because of supporters like you. Proceeds from the Rally for DHK, will help to support our core programs and services and can provide:
- $30 – a monthly subscription for our kids to enjoy their favourite shows
- $50 – a Family Support session, like Siblings or Parents Connect
- $100 – Music, arts, and craft supplies – for our therapy programs
- $250 – an outing for our residents
- $500 – technology to help our kids attend virtual medical appointments and avoid travel to the hospital
- $1,000 – operational costs associated with a weekend of respite care
- $2,500 – an inclusive event for all of our families at DHK
