What is the Manila Marathon? The Manila Marathon stands as the premier running event in the Philippines—the “gold standard” of the country’s running calendar. More than a race, it is a proud celebration of the Filipino spirit, bringing people together through a powerful blend of sport, culture, and heritage. As marathon tourism continues to grow across Asia, Manila takes the lead—opening its arms to the world with the passion and heart of a true runner. What are the race categories? Is there an age limit to register? - For 42KM, and 21KM, participants must be 18 years and above - For 10KM, participants must be 16 years and above - For 5KM, participants must be 13 years old and above. Kids 12 years old and below will be allowed to run provided he or she is accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants below the age of 18 must seek their parental/guardian consent and fill up the entry form where the parent/guardian is required to sign. How can I register? All participants need to register online in just four easy steps.

We use a security system consistent with the banking industry standards of the Philippines. Where is the venue for Manila Marathon 2026? Manila Marathon will be held in SM MOA Complex, Pasay City. When is the Manila Marathon 2026? The race is scheduled on June 12-13, 2026. What will I get if I register? All participants will receive race kits inclusive of race singlet and race bib with timing chip. The finisher’s entitlements include a medal, drawstring bag, finisher’s shirt, and finisher’s towel. Please note that only finishers of the 21KM and 42KM are entitled to a finisher's shirt. Will there be on-site registration? The Age Group Category is exclusive to the 42KM distance. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group:
What are the modes of payment? Upon online registration, participants can choose to either pay by GCash, Credit Card and Grab Pay. A payment instruction will be provided to the participants as a guide. Do you accept cash payments? All payment for Manila Marathon will be via GCash, Credit Card and Grab Pay only. How will I get confirmation after a successful registration? Once the registration fee is paid, participants will be receiving a confirmation email with a summary of information and payment fee from Manila Marathon with an email address of manilamarathon@runrio.com. Please check your inbox, promotions folder and spam folder for the confirmation. What would I do if I didn’t get a confirmation email? Participants may contact us via email at manilamarathon@runrio.com or via the Manila Marathon Facebook Messenger. Our Customer Service is available to respond to queries and assist you from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on weekdays, and limited time on weekends. CLAIMING OF RACE KITS How can I claim my race kit? Race kits can be claimed during the official Race Pack Collection schedule. When is the Race Pack Collection? Race Pack Collection will be held from June 8–11, 2026, between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM at SM Mall of Asia Main Atrium. Participants must present their confirmation email and a valid ID for verification upon claiming. Can someone else claim my race kit on my behalf? No, race kits must be collected in person by the registered participant. To claim the race kit, the registrant must present a copy of the confirmation email along with a valid ID. Can I change the size of my singlet/shirt after registration and confirmation? Unfortunately, changing singlet and shirt sizes is not permitted after the registration form has been submitted. Participants are advised to refer to the race singlet and finisher's shirt size charts on the online registration site before confirming their selection. Is there delivery? Will the run time per runner be tracked? Yes, the run time of all runners will be tracked using our timing system so make sure you're properly wearing your race bib during the race. Is it required to wear the singlet during the race? While we highly recommend wearing the official singlet, it's not obligatory for participation. However, wearing of the race bib is required throughout the race. Are there freebies on the day of the race? Yes. There will be giveaways/freebies on the race event day. How can I claim my finisher’s entitlements? To claim the finisher’s entitlements, participants may present the race bib at the redemption booth within the race village after their run. Will there be baggage counters and changing areas? Absolutely, we will provide baggage counters and designated changing tents at the Race Village. Will there be available portalets on the race day? Yes. There will be portalets inside the Race Village and Race Route. Will there be road closures and parking facilities at the start and finish line? Yes. Parts of the race route on the event day will be closed.
