Help Flora raise money

Hi friends and family! I have been a part of JCYC for many years! I was a participant in their AACE Upward Bound program in my high school years and currently working as a preschool teacher at Chibi Chan Preschool since the summer of 2007. I look forward to the Aloha Run every year so I can see my past, present, and future students! I’ve been fortunate to watch my own son, Jack, learn and grow through our program and to participate in the Aloha Run too!

I continue my work at JCYC and specifically Chibi Chan because i believe in the importance of early childhood education.  I believe in the importance of giving children a place to feel safe and comfortable to learn and fail.  I believe that the social emotional component of childhood is important to build strong adults and one of Chibi Chan's strengths is building confident and competent children.
