My Story…
As CEO of the Centre for Autism Services Alberta, I’ve quickly come to realize that our work extends far beyond programs and services. At its heart, it is about belonging, connection, opportunity, and ensuring Autistic individuals and their families feel seen, valued, and included in their communities. The Fun Run for Autism reflects that vision in action.
This event is not just about fundraising, although those funds are critical to sustaining and expanding supports. It is also about bringing together families, businesses, advocates, and community members in a positive, visible, and inclusive way while celebrating neurodiversity and strengthening community connection.
As someone who is not a runner myself, but who loves the outdoors, hiking, and walking, I hope my participation brings a spirit of fun, optimism, collaboration, and community. Please join me in supporting the Fun Run for Autism in whatever capacity you are able.
