This walk is personal for me. ❤️🐾 I adopted my dog when she was 2 years old. She’s a large bully mix—a type of dog that often comes with a lot of stigma before people ever get the chance to know who they really are. I was lucky enough to give her a second chance, but so many dogs like her are still waiting. Shelters are overflowing, and large dogs and bully breeds are often some of the hardest to place. Too many are overlooked simply because of their size, breed, or appearance. Knowing the love, loyalty, and joy my girl has brought into my life makes it heartbreaking to think about how many dogs just like her may never get that same opportunity. That’s why I’m walking—to help shelters continue giving animals the care, time, and chance they deserve while they wait for someone to see beyond the label and choose them. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps. I’m walking for the ones still waiting for their second chance. ❤️🐾
