Help Sarah raise money

I'm doing this for Eeyore and all of the other pups that end up in the care of Hamilton Animal Services.  

In July I had the privilege of walking a senior pup, Eeyore, who was brought in as a stray.  Eeyore was the perfect name for this boy who walked around like there was a tiny storm cloud hanging over him.  He was sweet, gentle and found happiness jumping on rocks, or staring out into a baseball diamond.  He had an old soul and you could tell was loved very deeply at one point of his life.  

The staff at Animal Services, and the members of Steeltown Canicross just loved him and his sweet face.   Everyone welcomed him with loving arms and provided him a safe space to live, Eeyore was finally loved again.

Shortly after his arrival  Eeyore's medical condition took a turn for the worse and unfortunately, he needed to move onto his next life. While this was not the outcome anyone could have predicted, Eeyore was *provided love, dignity, and respect to the end he was not left alone to suffer on the streets, but surrounded by those who cared about him deeply at the shelter*

The care, love and time that is brought to these animals is something I never knew about until I joined Steeltown Canicross.   This community has changed the way I see a lot, and helped me realize that we can help make a difference in animals' lives, even if it is just sharing a post, or a story.  

I am proud to be walking 5K to help raise money for Hamilton Animal Services through Murphy's Mission, and I am doing this to honor the life of Eeyore, the pup that was the definition of taking time to stop and smell the roses.
