Our Why
Every year Team Tucker gathers to celebrate our sweet Angel Tucker. Tucker was born on April 23, 2019 to Mark and Megan Hewson and big brother Berkley. Baby Tucker was born with heart complications and bravely battled his way through four heart surgeries in his six weeks with us. Unfortunately all the love in the world was unable to save him, and he grew his angel wings on June 7, 2019. Prior to Tucker’s arrival and during his short, treasured time with his family, the Hewsons were welcomed into the Ronald McDonald House. It offered them a home away from home and brought them comfort at the most difficult time. Team Tucker gathers together to honour Tucker and thank the Ronald McDonald House for supporting the Hewson family and so many other families requiring medical care.
